Thornfalcon Classic - Sunday 23rd August
The annual Thornfalcon Classic car show takes place at Henlade near Taunton on Sunday August 23rd. This is a very large but informal gathering of classic cars of all shapes and sizes and well worth a visit. There are usually a large number of TVR's from across the South West so also a good chance to meet and chat with other TVR owners.
There will be at least 2 meeting points. The first will be at Exeter Services (just off M5 J30) in the top end car park at 10am. The second will be in the Travelodge car park just off the M5 at J27.
There are no club areas this year so cars will be parked in the order in which they arrive. If you would like to be in the Devon group and can't make the J30 or J27 meeting points then it is possible for you to wait in the Toby Carvery car park just off the roundabout at J25 and tag onto our group as we drive past, hopefully at around 10:45. If you plan on doing this then let me know so we can make sure not to miss you.
If all else fails and you need to get there under your own steam then from J25 carry on with the A358 and turn right into Stoke Road and then Greenway Lane. At this point you will either find the end of the queue or see the signs directing you to the event.

14CUX EMS workshop - Sunday 18th January

If your TVR has the Rover V8 engine with the Lucas 14CUX EMS then this workshop should be of interest to you. Dave Peck has spent a lot of time using the RoverGauge and ECUMate diagnostic aids on his own (and other's!) engines and has kindly agreed to host a workshop explaining how it works, what can be achieved and how to get the best out of relatively inexpensive equipment.
The plan is to meet up in Paignton around 10:45am on Sunday 18th January (see forum for details) and then drive to Dave's house in Brixham where he will discuss the background and theory of the V8 engine diagnostics and then demo and compare the 2 kits on his engine. Time and weather permitting there should be the chance to plug it in to your engine to see how fit it is!
